The Extra Miler Club has members from 43 states and the District of Columbia. We also have members from the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba and Ontario and a member from Israel. We know you are wondering: We do not have current members from North Dakota, Rhode Island, Montana, Wyoming, Hawaii, Maine, or Vermont. We have had dogs that collect counties and currently have three cats that collect counties. Join the fun!
As a member, you will receive quarterly newsletters full of member updates, interesting articles about county bagging and travel experiences, and information on counties throughout the United States. You will also get your name on the Extra Milepost, where you can measure your county collecting alongside the achievements of other members. You will receive certificates for various milestones, such as hitting the 1000 county mark. Plus, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other county collectors and travelers in the club.
Each year, the Extra Miler Club has an annual meeting, held in conjunction with the Automobile License Plate Collectors Association. Although the groups are not connected, they do have many members in common. The next Extra Miler Club meeting is planned for July 1 in Denver, Colorado. See Annual Meeting section for details.
Individual dues are $12 per year, payable at the beginning of the calendar year. Family dues (for all family members at one address) are $15. As with other organizations, dues support the organization as a whole, helping to cover the cost of newsletters, certificates, plaques, and incidental club expenses. We appreciate your payment and support!
