2025 Annual Meeting
The 2026 EMC annual meeting was held on Saturday, July 12 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Attendance was the highest of all time at 84. After the meeting, some of the group took a short field trip to see member John Vaughn complete all of the U.S. counties in Defiance County, Ohio.

Annual meetings have been held each summer since 1973. The only exception was the 2020 meeting - scheduled for Tulsa, Oklahoma - that was canceled due to Covid-19. But we made up for that by meeting in Tulsa in 2025.
Annual meetings generally last about 2 hours. Do people drive across the country for a 2 hour meeting? Yes, we do! We are Extra Milers!

Field Trips
Field Trips
Most annual meetings are followed by a field trip to some interesting nearby geographical point. It may be a special county line, a state tri-point, or some other unique geographical place. Some field trips are structured, while others are more individual. The field trip after each meeting usually lasts about 2 hours.
