The 2025 EMC annual meeting will be held on Saturday, July 12. It will be at the Arvest Convention Center, 100 Civic Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma. We will not know our room number until a few days before the meeting.
The meeting will start promptly at 11 am and last until about 1 pm. Prior to the meeting, there will be time for socializing and purchasing merch starting at about 10:30 am.
The Doubletree Downtown Tulsa is attached to the convention center, but there are other hotels nearby.
Afterward we will have a sensational field trip to the Center of the Universe and The Tribal Nations Tri-point and county bi-point in Owen Park. Both are fairly close to the Arvest Convention Center.
For those interested in history, there will be an additional field trip to the historic Greenwood District of Tulsa later in the afternoon.
More details will follow.
Annual meetings have been held each summer since 1973. The only exception was the 2020 meeting - scheduled for Tulsa, Oklahoma - that was canceled due to Covid-19. But we are heading to Tulsa this year.
Annual meetings generally last about 2 hours. Do people drive across the country for a 2 hour meeting? Yes, we do! We are Extra Milers!

Plan Ahead for Future Meetings
2026 - July 18 Fort Wayne, Indiana
2027 - July 17 St. Cloud, Minnesota
It's never too early to start planning a great county-bagging route for your travels in future years.
Most annual meetings are followed by a field trip to some interesting nearby geographical point. It may be a special county line, a state tri-point, or some other unique geographical place. Some field trips are structured, while others are more individual. The field trip after each meeting usually lasts about 2 hours.
